Beautiful Vintage Murano Glass Duck - La Tour d'Argent Paris (approx. 1960)
A magnificent and rare hand-blown glass duck figurine made of high-quality Murano glass. This exclusive object was commissioned in the 1950s/60s for the legendary and historic Michelin-starred restaurant "La Tour d'Argent" in Paris, world-famous for its duck dishes.
The figurine was crafted on the Italian glass island of Murano and is attributed to the iconic master glassblower Archimede Seguso.
• Origin: Murano, Italy (made for La Tour d'Argent, Paris).
• Signature: Original, hand-engraved text "La Tour d'Argent Paris" on the underside of the base (see photo).
• Technique: Hand-blown crystal glass with a very refined, colorful polychrome swirled/combed feather pattern and an elegantly curled neck.
• Condition: In absolute excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or scratches.
