A Rare and Masterful Piece of Venetian Glass Art.
This Table Lamp belongs to the famous Avventurina Series created by Vincenzo Nason, one of the largest blown glass houses on Murano Island, off Venice. Made in 1969, it testifies to the centuries-old savoir-faire of Italian master glassmakers.
The body of the lamp is blown in deep black glass, enhanced by multiple inclusions of copper aventurine — these shimmering metallic flakes obtained by an ancestral technique consisting of incorporating molten copper particles into the glass paste. The result: a play of golden and coppery reflections that captures the light, each piece being unique.
The flared amber glass neck highlights the curved silhouette of the base, for a sculptural and warm look.
A collector's item in perfect condition, without the slightest flaw, which will immediately bring character to a living room, an office or a bedroom.
