Product description
This is a set of two vintage glass objects, manufactured in Murano, Italy. The set consists of a vase and a bowl, both executed with the characteristic 'bullicante' technique, where air bubbles are enclosed in the glass for a decorative effect.
The slender, conical vase has a deep red color and rests on a clear, spherical base filled with numerous small air bubbles. The organically shaped bowl combines an amber-colored interior with a contrasting cobalt blue rim. The 'bullicante' technique gives both pieces a lively texture and depth, a testament to the artisanal glassblowing for which Murano is known.
Both objects are in excellent vintage condition, without visible damage and retaining their original clarity and color intensity. The craftsmanship is clearly visible in the regular distribution of the enclosed air bubbles, which underlines the authenticity and quality of the glassware.
This set makes a refined addition to various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern to Hollywood Regency. The vase and bowl can be presented together on a dresser or coffee table, or used individually as decorative accents in a space.
