Special painting by the Portuguese artist MrKas (1980), titled Éclairé par le soleil: 'Lit by the sun'.
The work shows a female profile, built up from flowing color fields in red, orange, yellow, and blue against a dark background. The wavy lines give the portrait movement and depth. A striking eye-catcher for a modern interior.
MrKas was born in Porto, Portugal, in 1980. Inspired by his father, who was also a painter, he started with graffiti in the streets of Porto in 1999. He now creates both international murals and works on canvas. People and emotions are central to his art, in which he combines recognizable portraits with abstract forms and optical effects.
