Mies van der Rohe's steel cantilever chair, designed in 1927, is arguably one of the most beautiful designs to emerge from the Bauhaus. This MR40 lounge chair is the most exclusive version. It combines the bounce of the steel tubes with high-quality leather cushioning for ultimate comfort.
This chair has never been used. It still has the Knoll folder hanging from its backrest, and the sticker over the Knoll logo on the frame has not yet been removed.
The chair is not offered often in Europe. The leather has a limited edition, very dark grey color that looks almost black, but is a bit more subtle for the atmosphere in the room
