Product description
The Moroccan Boujaad Vintage Rug, measuring 256 x 175 cm, is a handwoven gem from the Boujaad region in Morocco’s Middle Atlas mountains. Crafted by Berber artisans from 100% wool, this rug, aged 20 to 50 years, features a soft, plush pile that balances comfort and durability. Its pink blush hue—a delicate, warm shade—offers a subtle yet striking charm.
The design displays abstract geometric patterns like diamonds or lines, reflecting the weaver’s artistry and Berber roots. The pink blush base may blend with hints of cream or beige, with abrash (color shifts) adding texture. Tribal motifs, such as zig-zags, might symbolize traditional elements.
Made for personal use, it shows authentic wear, enhancing its vintage appeal. Professionally cleaned, it retains its unique character. At 256 x 175 cm, it’s perfect for a cozy living room or bedroom accent. The Pink Blush Boujaad Rug combines soft elegance, skilled craftsmanship, and Moroccan heritage in a timeless piece.
