Private sellerProduct description
A statement in light and form, this Farooo floor lamp is a design by Marcel Wanders for the Dutch design brand Moooi. The design is a modern interpretation of the classic standing lamp, enlarged into a sculptural object that is a playful nod to a lighthouse. This piece is the medium (M) version with a height of 187 cm and a shade diameter of 88 cm. The base is made of white lacquered fiberglass, providing a solid yet elegant foundation. The large, cylindrical shade is made of a PVC/viscose laminate on a metal structure, which diffuses a warm and soft light into the room. The overall condition of the lamp is very good, indicating careful use. The white finish is bright and the shade is intact, ensuring the fixture has fully retained its original aesthetic value. The design is a characteristic example of Marcel Wanders' style, in which he combines historical forms with contemporary materials and techniques. With its monumental yet refined presence, this floor lamp fits perfectly in spacious living rooms, entrances, or open office spaces. It is a piece that complements both modern and eclectic interior styles and functions as a focal point in any room.
