The Random Light lampshade from Moooi has a diameter of 105 centimeters. The lampshade is made of glass fiber that is randomly wrapped around an inflatable beach ball using epoxy resin. This creates the distinctive and translucent 3D weave. Once the glass fibers have cured, the makers deflate the inflatable beach ball and remove it through the round opening in the lamp. Note: it only concerns the lampshade!
