Product description
Bring a unique piece of design history into your home with this monumental vintage floor lamp. With an impressive height of no less than 133 cm, this is a rare and imposing object that immediately draws attention in any interior.
Design & Texture
The base is a beautiful example of the Fat Lava period from the 1960s and 70s. The ceramic is finished with a thick, volcanic glaze in rich earth tones, ranging from deep chocolate brown to warm amber. The raw, organic patterns give the lamp a powerful, Brutalist look characteristic of high-quality West German pottery (WGP).
Light & Atmosphere
The lamp is topped with its original, extra-high conical linen shade. As soon as the lamp is switched on, the shade spreads an atmospheric, diffused light that beautifully accentuates the rough textures of the ceramic base. It is the perfect combination of an art object and a warm light source. Style & Condition
Whether you have a Mid-Century Modern home, an eclectic loft, or an interior with a bohemian touch; this lamp is a timeless statement piece. Considering its age, the lamp is in excellent vintage condition and has been fully inspected.
