Product description
This is a wrought iron Sculpture, titled "Monument For The Mankind". The work presents a powerful and symbolic form, namely an enlarged knot of barbed wire, making a thought-provoking visual statement. The Sculpture is entirely made of iron and has a patinated finish that gives it a robust and weathered character. The object consists of a dome-shaped base, a slender stem, and the complex, twisted upper part. A striking detail is the small ladder running up against the base, adding an extra symbolic layer to the work. The artist's initials are stamped into the metal. The overall condition of the artwork is good, with the rough and unpolished texture being a conscious part of the artistic expression. This unique, handmade object retains its original, authentic appearance. With its strong formal language, this Sculpture is a suitable object for a modern, industrial, or minimalist interior. It comes into its own on a sideboard, a console, or in a display cabinet, where its form and meaning can be fully appreciated.
