Product description
The Montis Charly armchair is an iconic design by Gerard van den Berg, characterized by its recognizable silhouette and comfortable seat. This specific example is finished in a striking, multicolored abstract fabric that immediately catches the eye and adds an artistic element to the design.
The armchair rests on a slender, black metal frame with characteristic spherical legs, creating an airy appearance despite the generous seat. The upholstery features a striking pattern in shades of red, blue, yellow, and green, giving the piece a lively and dynamic character. The zipper details on the sides accentuate the casual, jacket-like upholstery that is so typical of the Charly.
The piece is in condition commensurate with its age and use, with the original upholstery retaining its vibrant colors. The frame construction is solid, and the armchair still offers the distinctive comfort for which this model is known.
This armchair comes into its own perfectly in an eclectic or modern interior, where it can serve as a striking accent piece. The design combines effortlessly with both sleek, minimalist furniture and more pronounced, colorful elements in a living space.
