The Montis Axel sofa and matching loveseat, designed by Gijs Papavoine, form a timeless addition to the modern interior. This distinctive design combines clean lines with inviting comfort, making it a popular choice within contemporary Dutch Design. The set features an aubergine-colored leather frame and a contrasting beige leather seat, which has recently been reupholstered. The sofa has a width of 217 centimeters and a height of 94 centimeters, while the loveseat is 112 centimeters wide. A functional detail is the extendable seat, allowing the depth to be adjusted as desired for extra comfort. The set is completed with fabric cushions featuring a subtle leaf motif, and the original dark gray Ploeg fabric is still present on a roll. The entire set is in good condition, consistent with previous use. The combination of materials and the adjustable seat depth create a versatile piece of furniture that retains its functionality. This Montis Axel set fits perfectly into a modern or minimalist interior. The neutral color scheme and clean silhouette make it easy to combine with various living styles and other design pieces.
