Product description
An original vintage modular sofa from the 1970s, consisting of four independent seating units. It features soft, enveloping lines that are quintessentially representative of the era's interior design.
Its modular configuration allows the four units to be used either joined together as a single large sofa or separately, enabling various arrangements to suit specific spaces and needs.
This is a particularly appealing choice for those seeking versatile vintage furniture with a strong personality.
The design is defined by rounded, generously padded forms, with no visible wooden structure.
The seamless flow of the seat, backrest, and armrests creates a compact, sculptural silhouette—closely aligned with the aesthetic trends of 1970s Italian design, a period when comfort was frequently associated with soft, informal, and almost monolithic shapes.
The upholstery is distinctive: a beige fabric featuring a black geometric grid pattern, paired with grey fabric side panels to create a pleasing contrast in both color and texture.
The grid pattern further emphasizes the geometric form of the units and lends the set a bold retro character.
A rare and striking ensemble, ideal for vintage-style settings, interior design projects, commercial venues, showrooms, or contemporary homes looking to evoke the aesthetic of the 1970s.
The units show normal signs of wear consistent with age and use, including some marks or stains as shown in the photos.
