Extensively modified speaker set that is no longer comparable to its original design and purpose. The broadband speakers have been removed and replaced with a high-quality Magnat two-way car speaker set. Subsequently, the cabinets were fitted with damping material and converted into a fully sealed system. The sound produced is now exceptionally good and detailed. This particularly rare set is highly suitable for a typical Retro interior, for example in a 1950s style. The speakers need to be wired and operate on an amplifier/receiver audio signal. A small corner of wood has been chipped off the top left rear side; this is not very noticeable, but of course, it must be mentioned... Ouch; Distinctive mid-century aesthetic. The design is characterized by the semi-circular shape and the striking, woven front panel typical of audio equipment from this period. The housing is crafted from wood, finished with a gold-colored metal trim that frames the textile speaker grille. The grille itself features a geometric pattern in beige tones. An Argon logo in a gold-colored frame is mounted on the front. The rear features modern speaker connections and a suspension system, allowing the speakers to be used both freestanding and wall-mounted. The set is in good condition, befitting its age. The wooden parts and metal fittings display an authentic patina that emphasizes the vintage character of the speakers. The speakers are functional and retain their original charm. This speaker set makes a characterful addition to a vintage or eclectic interior.
