An elegant, low sideboard of French manufacture, dating from the 1950s, blending classic aesthetics with the refinement of post-war modernist design.
The front features superb marquetry in precious wood veneer (rosewood or walnut), with a central star motif and symmetrical chevrons on the side panels.
Decorated with light maple stringing and floral inlays in brass or gilt bronze, this piece evokes the world of great Parisian cabinetmakers such as Maison Jansen or André Arbus. The fluted, tapered legs, topped with brass sabots, enhance the neoclassical elegance of the piece.
The entire piece rests on a solid wood frame, ensuring sturdiness and quality. This piece is in good condition and ready to be integrated into a refined interior.
It comprises five storage doors with shelves and three built-in drawers.
