Exceptional Danish Modern desk in teak, produced in Denmark in the 1950s and attributed to a Danish designer. The desk features a refined architectural form with floating drawer units on both sides, tapered legs, and a rare screw-clamp joinery system that allows the structure to be assembled using mechanical snap fittings—an uncommon and highly interesting construction detail.
The piece has been professionally restored in our family workshop and finished with high-quality hard wax oil, enhancing the depth and warmth of the teak grain while preserving its authentic character. The desk remains in collector-grade condition, with only minor signs of use consistent with age. Structurally stable and fully functional.
A highly versatile, free-standing desk suitable for use in open interiors, offices, or as a statement piece in a modern living space. A fine example of mid-century Scandinavian craftsmanship and thoughtful engineering.
