Private sellerProduct description
This is a detailed scale model of the steam and paddle frigate L'Orenoque, crafted from wood and textile. The model displays the characteristic combination of sail and steam power typical of the maritime transition period in the 19th century. The ship is carefully constructed with wooden decks, masts, and a detailed hull in the colors red, green, and white. The rigging is finely woven with rope, and the distinctive paddle wheels on either side of the hull are clearly visible. The model rests on a wooden stand, ensuring a stable presentation. The object is in good condition, with an authentic appearance befitting a handmade maritime model. The construction is intact and the details have been well preserved. This model is a striking decorative object for a study, library, or an interior with a classic or maritime feel. It offers a tangible reminder of the rich history of shipping. Personal pickup is preferred as this item cannot really be shipped.
