Product description
Model 837 three-light adjustable ceiling lamp in wood and brass by Temde Leuchten, Switzerland, 1960s
Rare three-light ceiling lamp, produced by Temde Leuchten in Switzerland during the 1960s. The design features a circular wooden ceiling plate with three sculptural spotlights, each combining a beautifully grained wooden body with a flared brass shade.
Each light can be individually tilted and directed, allowing the lamp to create either focused accent lighting or a broader atmospheric glow across the room. The warm wood and aged brass complement one another beautifully, while the radial three-light composition gives the design a balanced and distinctly mid-century appearance.
Retaining its original label, the ceiling lamp is presented in very good vintage condition, with visible patina and minor traces of age and use consistent with its history. A rare and versatile example of the refined craftsmanship and functional modernism associated with Temde Leuchten.
