An elegant model 795 bookcase designed by Carlo Scarpa and produced by Bernini in Italy in the 1980s, based on an original 1935 design.
The structure is composed of two vertical white-painted steel uprights, connected to the base with adjustable feet and secured to the wall at the top.
The steel elements support eight solid walnut shelves, which gradually decrease in depth from bottom to top, creating a harmonious and proportionate balance typical of Scarpa's architecture.
The bookcase perfectly embodies the dialogue between structure, function, and material, with construction details of the highest quality, an expression of the finest 20th-century Italian design.
The walnut shelves are in perfect condition, while the steel frame, feet, and wall brackets show minor surface scratches consistent with age and use.
