This beautiful Armchair 45 (Model 45) was designed in 1947 by the iconic Finnish architect Alvar Aalto and is still produced by the Swedish manufacturer Artek. The solid birch wood frame immediately stands out due to Aalto's characteristic, fluidly curved wood technique. Thanks to the natural materials, the chair has a light and airy construction. The armrests are stylishly wrapped with rattan. This specific piece has recently been fitted with new (original, Swedish) linen webbing in a fresh orange-cream color. Whether you want to use it as a characterful Dining chair, ergonomic office chair, or as a standalone accent armchair: it fits into any interior. The legs have some light signs of wear over the years.
