Product description
Model 383 Bedside Table, Aksel Kjersgaard, Denmark, 1960s
Designed by Aksel Kjersgaard, the Model 383 is a beautifully proportioned bedside table that perfectly reflects the understated elegance of Danish modern design. Crafted in richly figured rosewood, the cabinet showcases dramatic grain patterns and deep, warm tones that make every surface unique.
The design is remarkably refined, with softly sculpted transitions between the frame and the slender tapered legs that demonstrate Kjersgaard's exceptional attention to detail. Beneath the top, an open compartment provides practical storage for books or everyday essentials while maintaining the light, architectural character of the piece.
As shown in the final photographs, the Model 383 pairs beautifully with the Aksel Kjersgaard Model 145 rosewood mirror, creating an elegant vanity or hallway arrangement. The matching mirror is available separately in one of my other listings.
