You are looking at a limited edition mirror of Louis the XIV(the Sun King). Made around 1980 for Franklin Mint.
Designed by the famous artist Vincenzo Francelli,the official restorer of the Palace of Versailles.The original of this mirror hangs in the Palace of Versailles.This is truly a magnificent piece and richly crafted in wood with 24 carat gold leaf Baroque style. Stained and gilded wood with great attention to detail. Dimensions:H. x W.=+/- 95 cm x 53 cm. A real eye-catcher in your home. In very nice condition, with minimal signs of use. Signed in the lower right corner with the letters VF.
