A splendid and dramatic Louis XVI-style mirror dating back to the 19th century. The mirror has a predominantly rectangular shape, topped with an ornate curved cornice. The base is supported by two carved feet, lending stability and a more imposing appearance. The piece is made of carved wood, with a patinated finish that combines light ivory with details in antiqued, re-lacquered gold. This distinctive two-tone effect accentuates the various decorative elements. The patination lends a lived-in, authentic look, typical of period furniture. External dimensions: (h) 162 x 85 x 7 cm. In good condition, with some signs of aging and material defects shown in the photographs. The frame has signs and defects, such as cracks and small losses, due to normal wear and tear.
