Elegant French octagonal wall mirror from the 1970s, in the Hollywood Regency style.
The central mirror is surrounded by faceted mirror panels and three rows of gilt brass rods, adorned with a delicate garland motif. This multi-level construction creates beautiful plays of light and adds a lot of depth to the piece.
An identical model is referenced by several dealers specializing in 20th-century furniture and decorative objects as French work from around 1970.
The mirror bears no signature or label allowing it to be attributed with certainty to a particular manufacturer.
Very good vintage condition. The mirror and peripheral elements are intact. The brass shows a natural patina and some slight marks consistent with its age, visible in the photographs.
