The Linha Studio, the evolution of the dining table designed by the Brazilian architect in 2020, is available in five sizes, from a suite or desk for the home to larger sizes for the office.
The sculptural frame creates a large, bridged surface with the top resting flat against the sides and two drawers positioned underneath, on the left.
Linha, which means "line" in Portuguese, is a response to the challenge of designing a desk with a slender frame, a top just 16 mm thick, and a length of 180 to 250 cm. Visually, it is extremely light and airy, the ultimate expression of the minimalism that permeates the designs of Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, who have always focused on finding proportions that exude a certain elegance.
The entire frame is characterized by sides with a gold-brown finish, while the top and drawer fronts are made of dark brown-stained Santos rosewood with a matte polyester lacquer finish, a wood with an interesting texture that adds personality to the design. The tabletop features a cable storage compartment. This compartment houses a storage drawer made of lacquered gold-brown metal, with internal dividers and a dark brown saddle leather backing, located near the drawers.
The stylish material of the marble top is accentuated by the frame.
The beautiful, large doors in sucupira define the unit's outline, enhancing it without undermining its clean geometry.
The metal base has a dark bronze finish.
