Designed by Joe Colombo for Oluce in the 1960s, the Flash table lamp stands as one of the most recognizable expressions of his design research, focused on innovative forms and a new approach to light within the domestic space.
Its compact and enveloping structure creates a sculptural yet essential presence: a cylindrical base supports an open, curved diffuser that partially conceals the light source, establishing a refined balance between solid and void and a distinctive graphic identity.
Light is shielded and reflected within the lacquered metal shade, producing a soft, indirect glow conceived for intimate environments and atmospheric use rather than purely functional illumination.
