Product description
This Thonet-style rocking chair is a classic example of bentwood furniture from the mid-century period. The design is characterized by the flowing, organic lines typical of the iconic Viennese furniture tradition. The chair is crafted from bentwood with a warm, brown finish. Both the seat and the high backrest are upholstered in brown leather featuring a striking patchwork pattern. The graceful curls in the base and armrests highlight the craftsmanship of the wood bending technique. The piece is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. The wood displays an authentic patina, and the leather upholstery has retained its character. The construction is fully functional and structurally intact. This rocking chair looks excellent in a reading nook, living room, or conservatory. The timeless design combines effortlessly with both vintage and contemporary interior styles.
