Product description
A striking mid-century modern glass sculpture in the form of a fish, handcrafted in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s. This exquisite piece is made from a single block of blown and stained glass, showcasing the remarkable artistry and fluid lines characteristic of Czech glassmaking of the era.
Each of these fish sculptures was individually crafted, resulting in unique variations of form and color. This example features a subtle, organic wood-grain pattern flowing through the glass — a rare and distinctive detail that enhances its sculptural quality.
The piece is in excellent vintage condition, free-standing and ready to add a touch of mid-century sophistication to any interior. Perfect as a collector’s item, a statement decorative accent, or a highlight in a curated Murano or Czech glass art collection.
