Product description
For the true enthusiast of Mid Century Modern and Space Age design, this is an original two-tone green laundry basket and storage stool from the iconic West German brand Emsa. This is an absolute design classic from the 70s that you rarely come across in this condition. What makes this item truly special is the removable lid with the original furry green plush lining. Often, these linings have been lost, worn out, or discolored over the years. This particular example, however, is completely fresh, clean, and as good as new. The sturdy plastic of the laundry basket itself is also in absolutely superb condition. No cracks, no deep scratches, and the tilting front, which opens and closes smoothly, shines brightly. The two-tone olive green and lime green color combination pops and instantly brings that ultimate retro vibe to your interior. This multifunctional piece of furniture is ideal for use as an eye-catching laundry basket in the bathroom, as a playful storage chest for throws in the living room, or as a unique bedside table. Height approx. 45 cm Width approx. 43 cm Depth approx. 27 cm 1970s Space Age Superb condition, plush is wonderfully soft and hygienically clean. A beautiful collector's item that fits perfectly in a vintage or eclectic interior.
