Mid-Century, Scandinavian-style, folding magazine rack made of beech with a walnut-colored finish on tapered legs, in the style of Cees Braakman, from the 60's.
The rack features 6 spindles on one side, and on the other side, there are 7, carved, capsule- shapes, with 1 spindle at the top. The folding mechanisms work perfectly.
Piece is in good, overall, vintage and original condition, with very light signs of age and previous use commensurate with time on the overall structure (see photos.) A few bars on one side, are not fully straight
(see photos), but nothing whatsoever that affects its functionality or beauty. It has maintained its nice, warm color and original patina of time.
The folding mechanism is fully functional and piece opens and close properly (see photos.)
Piece has simply been gently dusted and polished, with respect to preserving its original patina of time.
A great showcase or accent piece, that will look fantastic in a living room, den, office, bedroom or bathroom.
All photos taken in natural, outdoor light, so colors may vary, based upon brightness, stone wall reflections, angles and perspective in which they are viewed.
