Product description

This Mid-Century two-seater sofa, designed by Aksel Dahl for KP Møbler, is a beautiful example of Danish design from the 1960s. The piece combines a robust wooden frame with rich, brown leather cushions, resulting in a timeless and comfortable seating experience. The sofa is manufactured in Denmark and displays the characteristic attention to detail and craftsmanship of that period. The frame is made of solid wood, ensuring a sturdy construction, while the seat and backrest feature loose, leather-covered cushions. The warm brown tone of the leather contrasts beautifully with the natural wood grain, contributing to the authentic vintage look. The sofa is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. Over the years, the leather has developed a beautiful patina, enhancing the character of the piece. The original labels from KP Møbler and Aksel Dahl are still present, confirming its provenance and authenticity. This piece of furniture fits perfectly into a Mid-Century Modern or Scandinavian-inspired interior. It not only offers a comfortable seat but also serves as a striking design element in the living room or study. The leather has a lot of patina and shows some signs of wear on the back of the leather seat cushion. See photos. Once the back cushions are in place, this is absolutely not noticeable. Available for pickup or to be arranged with the Whoppah courier. Ref. 23372026
