Product description
Striking mid-century modern coffee table featuring hand-painted ceramic tiles signed by artist Jean D'Asti a French ceramic artist active in Vallauris during the mid-20th century. Crafted with a solid, dark wood frame, the table showcases a captivating abstract pattern of concentric tree-ring motifs across its ten inlaid ceramic tiles. The warm beige glaze and earth-toned brushwork offer a rich, tactile surface that balances artistic expression with everyday functionality. The table is in very good vintage condition, the tiles are intact with vibrant glaze, but the dark wood frame shows some wear and tear consistent with age.
