Elegant Danish secretary desk by Dyrlund, a refined example of Scandinavian mid-century craftsmanship combining functionality with timeless aesthetics.
The piece features five large drawers in the lower section and a cleverly designed writing area above. A pull-out writing surface simultaneously reveals a tambour roll-top made of wooden slats. Behind it, a well-organized interior unfolds with multiple compartments, shelves, and five small drawers – perfect for storing writing essentials and personal items.
A particularly unique feature is the lift-up top, which reveals a mirror and additional storage space beneath the writing surface, adding versatility and a subtle vanity function.
Crafted from high-quality teak wood with solid wood elements, the desk showcases a warm tone and beautiful grain. The finely shaped rounded handles underline the elegant and organic design.
Dyrlund is one of Denmark’s most respected furniture makers, renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, premium materials, and enduring design quality.
Condition: Lovingly restored condition. The surface has been refreshed, the piece is stable and fully functional. Only minor signs of wear consistent with age.
A sophisticated and highly functional secretary desk with beautiful detailing.
