Characterful vintage armchair crafted from solid teak with an original rattan seat and backrest. The design exudes the Scandinavian mid-century modern of the 1950s/60s and is comparable to Danish designs from that period.
The teak frame is in good condition. The rattan seat shows some damage in a few places and is repairable. I have obtained a quote for this from a specialized restorer. Depending on the chosen finish, the restoration costs are indicatively between €165 and €225.
I am downsizing my interior and have therefore decided to sell the chair rather than have it restored.
Ideal for vintage furniture enthusiasts who want to restore a special piece (or have it restored) or repair it to their own taste.
