Mid-century, vintage soup plates by Duralex, France, circa 60's - 70's. This set of six plates, is made of tempered glass, and designed as shallow "plate bowls" for soup, aka "assiettes à soupe", "assiettes creuses" (deep plates), or for "entremet" (dessert.). There are two (2) with pastel green/teal green edging, and four (4), with yellow edging. The centers of the plates are white, surrounded by a clear ring (see photos.) Plates are in overall good, original and vintage condition with some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, on the overall pieces (tops and underneath), some worn areas of missing colors from previous use, near some edges
(see photos), as well as patina of age and time (see photos.) No cracks or chips. A makers mark, as well as "Made in France", are embossed on the inner part of the plates (see photos.). All photos taken in natural, outdoor light, so colors may vary, based upon brightness, reflections, angles and perspective in which they are viewed. Being sold as a set only.
