This mid-century sculptural glass piece was produced in1970s likely by Exbor or Železný Brodské sklo, both known for their artistic glass objects. It reflects the experimental and expressive style typical of the region’s studio glass production in that period.
The piece is made entirely of clear glass, shaped into a rounded base with a decorative sculpted top. Inside the glass sphere is a sealed fabric element featuring the French flag, adding a unique visual contrast. The object is preserved in excellent vintage condition, with no cracks or chips visible.
Because of its distinctive form and embedded textile detail, this piece works well as a decorative accent on a desk, shelf, or display cabinet. Its weight and shape also allow it to function as a paperweight, though its primary appeal is as a collectible mid-century art glass object.
