Product description
Mid-century, vintage, Scandinavian-style nightstand with smaller, secondary top and drawer, circa 1960’s. Piece is made of striped-mahogany/teak-colored wood, with a veneer finish, and legs made of solid wood. The front legs have a nice, carved design at the top, with original, brass-finished leg tips, while the rear legs are straight. The upper section of the piece with the drawer, rests upon brass-colored, small "legs." Piece is in overall very good, original and vintage condition, with light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of age and time, on the top (see photos with a 1 cent coin for perspective), edges, legs and structure (see photos.) The smaller section on top, has a drawer with a brass-colored finished pull knob, that opens and closes perfectly. The beautiful, warm and shiny, wood veneer remains sleek and smooth. The inside of the drawer is very clean ( see photo.)
Not only a great piece to use as was designed and intended as a nightstand / bedside table, this will also work very well in a smaller living space, loft, den or living room, as a small accent piece, side, phone or plant table, that will compliment other mid-century décor.
Piece is solid, sturdy and stable. The legs are removable and will be disassembled to simply the shipping process.
All photos taken in natural, outdoor light, so colors may vary, based upon brightness, angles & perspective in which they are viewed.
