Product description
This set of armchairs was produced in the early 1980s by the Swedish brand IKEA. The SET model first appears in the catalogue in 1979, was upholstered exclusively in fabric at the time and was developed as a continuation of the PIX armchair. The leather edition was introduced in 1983 as a premium version of the iconic model. The frame is made of chrome-plated tubular steel. The seat is made of black natural leather. The leather is patchwork, which is one of the most interesting sewing techniques. Items made with the patchwork technique look original. The spacious and deep seat is also comfortable due to the soft leather. The armchairs fit into many arrangements, complementing them perfectly.
IKEA is an international conglomerate of Swedish origin that designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, household appliances and home accessories. Founded in Sweden in 1943 by Ingvar Kamprad, IKEA has been the world's largest furniture retailer since 2008. The company is known for modernist designs of various types of appliances and furniture, and its arrangement works are often associated with ecological simplicity.
This set is in original vintage condition with minor scratches and discoloration of the leather due to its age. The seat is 42 cm high.
