Product description
The transparent body features contrasting color inclusions in ruby red and emerald green. The vase has an elegant, slender shape with a slightly flared rim, typical of mid-century Bohemian glass.
Bohemian glass is among the oldest and most valued glassmaking traditions in the world. In 2023, the craftsmanship was officially recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage, giving the centuries-old tradition of glassblowing in the Czech Republic global status. Rubin Art Glass is an important part of this tradition and was exported throughout Europe and the United States in the 1960s and 1970s. This makes the vase not only a decorative object but also a piece of cultural heritage with international collector's value.
