Product description
A characteristic mid-century pendant lamp from the 1960s/70s, featuring a successful combination of textured glass and metal. The minimalist design and striking glass shade lend the lamp a period-typical yet highly decorative character. The cylindrical glass shade has a pronounced geometric diamond pattern that attractively refracts and distributes the light throughout the room. When switched on, this creates a pleasantly warm, atmospheric light. Above the glass shade is a cylindrical metal casing with a chrome finish, complemented by a black trim ring. The simple white ceiling canopy provides a subtle contrast to the glass and metal. The combination of materials is typical of lighting design from the mid-century and space age eras. Due to its compact proportions, the pendant lamp is particularly well-suited above a small dining table, bedside table, or side table, as well as for accent lighting in living rooms or entryways.
