Product description
Murrina is a elegant lamp realised in the heart of Murano in the late 50s.
The lamp shade was realised according two different elaborate Murano techniques: Incamiciato e Murrina. Murrine are a small section of a long reed expertly prepared by the masters of Murano that create the glass barrel with the desired design. The master overlaps several layers of coloured glass creating a sphere of molten material which is then pulled through the ends by two people. Glass canes are thus obtained which will then be cut into cylindrical segments.
In this vintage lamp, beautiful colourful Murrina designs are scattered across the elegant Incamiciato white glass by creating a cheerful and unique effect.
The lamp’s structure shows beautiful brass details as visible in pic n 410
It fits a regular E27 light bulb and the lamp shade is 35 cm 13.8 inch while the tot height is 108 cm 42 inch.
