Private sellerProduct description
This mid-century modern multi-functional table from the 1960s (likely Germany) combines timeless design with practical adaptability. The piece is characterized by its clean lines and the warm tones of the wood, typical of the design language of this era. Crafted from wood with a striking grain in rich brown tones, the tabletop rests on slender, tapered legs. The construction allows for flexible use, as the tabletop can be extended via a folding mechanism. The exposed hinges and solid substructure attest to the functional design, which makes the table usable both as a compact side table and in its extended form. The table is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. The wood surface displays an authentic patina that underscores the vintage character of the piece, while the mechanical elements retain their functionality. The adjustment mechanism allows for height adjustment from 63.5 to 74 cm. The unfolded tabletop measures 112 x 102 cm. This versatile piece of furniture blends seamlessly into modern or Scandinavian-inspired interiors. It offers a practical solution for living spaces where flexibility and stylish design are equally valued.
