Coffee table, designed by Severin Hansen Jr. for Haslev Møbelfabrik in the 1960s. Renowned for his razor-sharp minimalist silhouettes, Hansen’s work beautifully balances organic wood tones with striking, industrial material accents.
It features Hansen’s absolute signature design hallmark: seamlessly executed, sharp three-way mitered corner joints that flow flawlessly down into elegant, tapered legs. This structural mastery gives the table a light, floating appearance.
Set into the heart of the teak frame is a spectacular, textured copper inlay top. This metallic surface introduces an incredible depth of character to the piece, featuring a rich, dark patina with shifting fiery orange, bronze, and metallic undertones that catch the light beautifully from every angle.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition including the"Danish Control" stamp on the underside of the table.
