A signed studio production art ceramic bowl by Inger Persson for Rörstrand, Sweden. Like most of her work, this is a small studio piece, a small bowl or flowerpot which is very rare and features an unusual pattern in the glazing. As always, her work is simple and clean, yet so effective. The shape is classic and the pattern on the glazing is subtle. The top part consists of a chocolate brown glazed section with a simple pattern, followed by a rough unglazed surface with a simple graphic pattern. At the bottom, it is contrasted with a dark denim blue color, making the bowl very elegant and sophisticated. It is in very good condition. It is 8 cm high and 12 cm in diameter at the base.
