Product description

This is a very charming set of vintage wooden doll’s house furniture from the Soviet Union (USSR)The clean, geometric shapes of the armchairs and the kidney-shaped/triangular table reflect the characteristic Mid-Century Modernist design that was also popular in the Soviet Union at the time for toys and interiorsThe two Cubist armchairs feature a distinctive continuous side support that forms both the armrest and the legs, with no visible screws or nailsThe tabletop consists of several thin layers of wood, and the protruding legs ensure greater stability and a sleek lookOn the underside of the table there is a manufacturer’s stamp bearing the inscription ‘USSR’, indicating that these were made for exportSigns of wear consistent with age and use Additional details: - Period: Mid-century - Dimensions: Armchairs: 7.5 cm wide and deep, 7 cm high
