This striking vintage ashtray is a bold example of the iconic “Fat Lava” style, created by renowned Dutch ceramicist Jan van Erp. Crafted in the mid-20th century, the piece features a rugged, tactile black glaze typical of Fat Lava ceramics, paired with a vivid, high-gloss red and orange lava glaze pool in the center, accented by bursts of yellow and green.
