This elegant mid-century modern flower stand is a quintessential example of Czechoslovakian design from the 1960s, a period deeply influenced by the "Brussels Style" and the success of the Expo 58. Featuring a dynamic, sculptural silhouette, this tiered stand offers three distinct levels for displaying plants, art objects, or collectibles.
The structure is composed of high-quality tubular chrome, gracefully bent into a continuous, fluid frame that provides both stability and a light, airy aesthetic. The three platforms are crafted from plywood, showcasing a beautiful grain and warm honey tone. The combination of industrial chrome and natural wood creates a sophisticated contrast typical of the modernist era in Central Europe.
The piece has been restored. The plywood surfaces have been professionally refinished to highlight their original luster and are in excellent condition.
