Disciplined, architectural lines and honest, sturdy construction define this "MR" armchair — a design closely related to the shop's well-known FOX model in comfort and scale, but built wider and deeper for a roomier, more relaxed sit. That generous seat depth was a hallmark of Eastern Bloc lounge chair production in the 1960s–80s, when factories prioritized genuine comfort over minimal material use.
Fully restored: the solid teak frame has been sanded and revarnished to a satin, hand-waxed finish, and the seat reupholstered in a light green heathered ("chiné") fabric that's stain-resistant and easy to maintain.
A genuine one-of-a-kind piece, ready to view at our Paris showroom near Anvers — solidly built and comfortably scaled for a small living room, reading corner, or bedroom.
