About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This Mid - Century armchair was designed by Danish designer Illum Wikkelsø, a leading designer within Scandinavian modernism. His designs are known for their refined simplicity and organic forms, which in this armchair can be seen especially in the armrests.
The frame is made of high-quality wood and shows the craftsmanship for which Danish design is so valued. The curved wooden armrests form an elegant contrast to the clean lines of the frame and create a flowing, natural look. The wood structure is nicely visible and is in good condition, with only minimal signs of use befitting its age.
The seat and back cushions are firm and upholstered in a neutral, durable fabric that is well-preserved. Both the upholstery and seating are in good condition, making the armchair not only stylish, but also immediately usable.
The armchair has minor discoloration on the edge of the seat. See photo.
