Product description
A remarkable piece of original 1970s lighting design. This sculptural vintage pendant lamp captivates with its solid, relief-like textured frosted glass (bark glass), arranged in an elegant, two-tiered lotus or flower shape. The sophisticated design is heavily inspired by renowned European manufacturers of the era (such as Doria Leuchten and J.T. Kalmar) and combines organic mid-century modernism with a touch of Hollywood Regency glamour.
The thick, textured glass is not only visually striking but also serves a wonderful purpose: when switched on, it refracts the light in a fascinating way, creating exceptionally warm, atmospheric, and glare-free illumination. A timeless statement piece that forms a fantastic contrast in modern, minimalist interiors or blends seamlessly into curated vintage settings.
Condition: Very good, authentic vintage condition. The heavy glass elements are in excellent condition and show no cracks or chips. The understated plastic suspension displays a light, age-appropriate patina that honestly reflects the history of this over 50-year-old design object. The lamp is fully functional and ready for immediate use.
